Why are we now a private practice?
Developments in health policy in recent years have shown that good gynecological screening is now difficult for patients with health insurance. Many examinations were canceled at the expense of the patients in order to save costs. We want to provide all patients with the best possible examination and thus reliable screening.
What does a preventive check-up cost?
Good medicine doesn’t have to be expensive. We offer a complete preventive check-up for just under 100 euros. This includes a consultation, a physical examination, a cervical smear test (ThinPrep) and a vaginal ultrasound scan. All costs are discussed with you in advance so that there are no hidden costs for you.
Why do we only offer screening with ultrasound?
We attach great importance to a complete preventive medical check-up in order to guarantee you the safety you expect. Vaginal ultrasound can detect changes at an early stage before symptoms arise, e.g. changes to the uterus (e.g. fibroids) or ovaries (e.g. cysts).
What advantages does our practice have for you?
We attach great importance to good communication. We have therefore set up a messenger service and thus offer direct doctor-patient communication.
We offer exclusive rooms with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
Due to the limited number of daily patients, there are very short waiting times in the practice, fast, prompt appointment allocation and sufficient time for our examinations.
How is payment made?
You will receive an invoice from us in accordance with GOÄ, which should be paid directly to us electronically (EC/credit card). You can then submit this invoice to your statutory health insurance provider. Some health insurance companies cover part of the costs for IGeL services. Talk to your health insurance company in advance.

As a gynecological practice, we offer you comprehensive care and advice in all areas of gynecology, including endometriosis and the desire to have children. We offer you all preventive measures for gynecological screening. This includes the annual cancer screening as well as the treatment and therapy of
Endometriosis and the regular monitoring of benign changes (e.g. fibroids, cysts).
Incontinence and contraceptive advice (IUD & pill) are also among our main areas of treatment. In our emergency consultation hour, you will be helped quickly and without long waiting times for acute complaints.
You can choose between different services and make an appointment for an individual consultation. Our MagnaMed specialist center, located directly at Munich’s main train station, offers a group practice with various specialties focusing on general gynecology, fertility and menopause.
As a private practice, we only treat privately insured and self-paying patients.
